I’m Jen, the human behind ROOV, a luxury travel business.

Even though I've always worked in travel, people still ask for my personal advice. Information that is from my experience and speaks to the way most like to travel. You want that one interesting idea, trip, lead that brings you somewhere. 

So, I’m stepping into the light and sharing what I know will personally resonate with you. You’ll find my inspiration, waypoints and recommendations as I walk through work and life. It’s a place where I will denote my curiosity for the world; my creative space to divulge, be free and connect with you. 

Roovmail is an homage to the travel journal, the postcard to my grandmother, the scribbled notes, the business card and the endless series of un-used photographs. It’s a catalog of things worth sharing, saving and talking about.

Jen Johnson is a travel designer and lifestyle aficionado based in Palma de Mallorca. Her arrangements focus on the essence of a place and the reverie of timelessness. Captivated by the place where concept meets creation, this blog is a catalog of inspirations, experiences and conversations.

Jen is always working while walking, conceptualizing novel approaches to the human experience. Having curated high-end travel in Africa for 15 years, she easily matriculates through cultures seeking the unforgettable that is so keenly felt and observed, and still bizarrely individual. Her brilliant and amusing ability to forge lasting connections with the people who make beautiful locales allows her to create unprecedented opportunities for clients. She is in love with good design, linen sheets and simple pleasures such as fresh produce at farmers markets, swimming in rivers and cocktails atop the alps. Jen is based in Mallorca…for now.
