_The Great Migration

Influenced from decades of work in the African landscape and ignited from our clients' desires to go farther with us, Roov is a progression of what we’ve always done well - open people to places they never expected. We took time in the transition - to unlearn the world a bit, the fit and form and have enough turbulence to fluctuate, be fluid and mobile and find confluence in recruit of new creatives and colleagues. Our formulation has been slow, but all good things take time. We’ve disagreed on how to fit in; but we’ve never quite fit in. So we decided to act differently and convince the audience. We want to ceaselessly invent aberrations of the human experience thru the medium of travel and do it with innate grace, beauty and style. Roov is the manifestation of our uncommon desire to disobey the ordinary and provide the extraordinary. 

The family who built the lodge, camped on this spectacular property to experience where the sun threw light shafts, where the breezes cooled the trees and how the iconic shape of Mount Kenya anchored the view. 

EAST AFRICA | ARID VENTURE

Very few matters move us as deeply as to share an epitaph to Africa - the continent of wisdom and deep poetry expressed in nature, beast and man. Arid Venture meanders like conversation around a campfire, you travel as if you are from these unreal places and yet overlooking the edge of the world. You feel splendidly alive as modern pressures fade away and fascination is found in the simplest things in life. As these prime places and people begin to intertwine and grow, ideas merge, fragment and dissolve. Flattening the construct of your reality, Roov exhibits the dramatic place that we view as one of the greatest stages of the world.
